Bio: Graduating from Otago University with a BA in Anthropology and Psychology Stacey found her interest in people, cultures and community piqued. During a thirteen year period living in Japan her interest in cultures and different ways of living grew, along with an interest in photography. Returning to New Zealand she enrolled in Unitec’s Bachelor of Design and Visual Arts with a Photography major. Now she uses photography to further explore the human condition and it’s many and varied expressions. In 2013 she won the AIPA Image Nation Award for her portrait series ‘Garage’.
